Ruronzi - Rwanda

THE COFFEE

Ruronzi is more than just coffee—it’s a testament to innovation and craftsmanship, brought to life by our Rwandan sourcing partners, Ikawa House, since 2020. Born from a passion for pushing the boundaries of coffee excellence, Ikawa House established Ruronzi Farm to redefine what’s possible in Rwandan coffee. THE PEOPLE

Laetitia Mukandahiro and Uzziel Habimana founded Ikawa House in 2019 with a vision: to cultivate exceptional coffee and uplift their community. We've partnered with them since the beginning, sharing in their commitment to producing unique, high-quality beans while empowering local farmers through education. Ruronzi marks the first export harvest from their own farm, and we’re thrilled to be the first to bring this incredible result of their dedication and expertise to the U.S.

THE IMPACT

Ikawa House (IH) is transforming the future of Rwandan coffee with its dedication to quality, innovation, and education. Since 2019, their Kigali HQ has served as a hub for local coffee professionals, and now, with Ruronzi Farm, they’re taking it even further. This R&D farm is a playground for experimentation—refining processing techniques while empowering local producers with hands-on education. Every bag sold directly supports their mission to elevate Rwanda’s coffee industry, one harvest at a time.
